5 Disney Fall Snacks We Tried – But Did We Like Them?

There’s something about Disney in the fall that makes everything feel a little cozier, and tastier too!

Mickey Carmel Apples

The weather cools down (just enough to keep your Dole Whip from melting in two seconds), the decorations sparkle with autumn colors, and suddenly even the snacks feel extra magical. But let’s be honest: not every seasonal treat is a winner. Here’s the lowdown on five fall snacks we tried, and whether they’re worth the money.

1. Mickey Fall Cupcake

Festive? Absolutely. Delicious? Depends on the version you grab. With swirls of autumn-colored frosting, Mickey ears, and seasonal sprinkles, this cupcake looks like a dream. But be warned, sometimes the icing outweighs the cake. If you’re in it for the photo, it’s a must. For taste? Cute, but not always crave-worthy. Please note, the frosting was gone in seconds!

2. Pumpkin Spice Mickey Beignets at Disneyland

Winner, winner, beignet dinner. Light, fluffy, and dusted with pumpkin spice sugar, these are fall magic in a bag. They can be a little messy (goodbye, black shirts), but they’re worth every bite. And here’s a bonus: if you’re strolling through Downtown Disney in Disneyland, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express serves up beignets that are exceptional (yes a little better than the ones you get inside Disneyland) — and you don’t need a park ticket to indulge. Verdict: yes, please.

3. Churros with Seasonal Dipping Sauces

A churro is never a bad idea, but the seasonal sauces can be hit or miss. Pumpkin? Surprisingly good. Some chocolate dips? Too sweet. Still, the novelty makes it fun, and sharing with a friend helps balance the sugar rush. Plus the seasonal churros come in a smaller portion, easy to share due to the sweetness!

4. Caramel Apples on Main Street

They’re gorgeous, themed to perfection, and the smell alone lures you into the confectionery. But let’s be real, these things are not easy to eat. You’ll either need a knife, or a serious strategy. Verdict: Instagram gold, practicality… not so much.

5. Hot Cocoa During a Parade

Simple, classic, and hits different when you’re sitting under the glow of Mainstreet . Bonus points if it’s a chilly night (and Disneyland can get super cold). The flavor? Standard cocoa. The experience? Pure Disney magic.

Dreamers’ Tip: Not every treat has to be perfect to be memorable! Sometimes it’s about the story (like powdered sugar explosions from beignets). Pick one or two seasonal snacks each trip and let them add to your fall Disney memories.

So Dreamers… which of these would you try? And which ones are you skipping?
