Hey Dreamers! Valentine’s Day is creeping up, and next week we are heading straight into the heart eyes energy at the Happiest Place on Earth. Disneyland at Valentine’s Day has a very specific vibe.
It is cozy, colorful, a little chaotic (to say the least), and somehow extra nostalgic all at once. Between the seasonal treats, the themed merchandise, the long weekend crowds thanks to Presidents Day, and the content opportunities, this trip is shaping up to be one of our favorite storytelling weeks of the year.
We will be on the ground at Disneyland to see what really changes for the holiday, what feels worth your time, and what you might want to skip if you are planning a visit or celebrating from home.
As always, we are filming daily, chasing details, pulling Walt quotes, and showcasing the hard facts that created Disney while soaking in that classic romance-meets-theme-park magic. If you love Disneyland at Valentine’s Day for the nostalgia as much as the sweets, you are very much our people.
We are also staying at the Disneyland Hotel, which means early mornings, late nights, and plenty of lobby, grounds, and resort moments to capture. There is something about walking back to your hotel after fireworks during Disneyland Valentine season that just hits differently.
Valentine vibes, crowds, and why this week matters
One thing we are especially curious about this year is how Disneyland at Valentine’s Day blends with Presidents Day weekend.
Crowds can spike, but the atmosphere often feels lighter and more playful. Couples, families, best friends, and solo dreamers all seem to show up for Disneyland Valentine energy in their own way. We will be watching wait times, mobile order windows, and overall park flow so we can report back honestly.
This time of year is also perfect for content lovers. Seasonal decor, limited time food, and Disney Valentine’s Day Merchandise all give you that blink and you miss it feeling. If you are planning a trip later in the year, this is one of those moments that makes you wish you were there right now.
Three treats we are trying for the very first time
We have to be honest. Disney sweet treats have never been a favorite of ours, which makes this extra fun. Sometimes the underdog steals your heart, and we are hoping at least one of these surprises us.
First stop is The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland Park for the DOLE Whip Strawberry Sundae. A classic location with a seasonal twist is always promising, especially during Disneyland at Valentine’s Day when pink snacks feel basically mandatory.

Next up is Alien Pizza Planet with the Valentine themed Alien Macaron, available now. Cute, themed, and slightly chaotic feels very on brand for Disneyland Valentine snacks, and we are excited to see how this one tastes versus how it photographs.

Our third treat is at Red Rose Taverne, where the Red Velvet Stuff is currently available. Red velvet feels like a bold choice, and we are ready to see if it delivers on flavor or just looks festive.
Although we did try another version of this, as the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Birthday Cake, and this did not end up scoring high. But we will give it one more shot.

Why we love telling Valentine stories at Disneyland
So dreamers, this week is about more than snacks and shopping. Disneyland at Valentine’s Day gives us a chance to slow down, look closer, and remember why Disney storytelling still matters. From a Walt Disney story to a seasonal treat that only exists for a few weeks, these are the details that build memories.
We will be sharing what surprised us, what felt overhyped, and what genuinely made us smile. Whether you are visiting soon, planning for the future, or celebrating a cozy Disney Valentine’s Day from home, we hope this helps you feel connected to the parks in a meaningful way.
Stay tuned, follow along, and as always, keep dreaming.
