While the food is approachable, think sweet-and-sour chicken, ahi tuna nachos, and pork potstickers, it also offers some adventurous pan-Asian flavors if you’re willing to try something new.

For families, there are plenty of kid-friendly options like chick strips, making it one of the more flexible animal kingdom restaurants for mixed groups.

We have dined here multiple times and find the experience mixed. The building is stunning, but the dining rooms can feel crowded, service is slow and the food is solid rather than standout.

If you enjoy familiar Asian or Indian flavors and want a sit-down meal without a high price tag, this can be a good fit.

Rainforest Cafe

This restaurant is all about the experience. The food is secondary, but the atmosphere continues to entertain guests of all ages.

Want Something Delicious Without Table Service?

Ok Dreamers, if some of these animal kingdom restaurants feel a bit out of budget, there is great food all over the park without a reservation.

One of our favorite quick bites is The Smiling Crocodile, located just outside Yak and Yeti. Their pulled pork and cheese arepa with queso fresco, salsa verde, and plantain chips comes in under $15 and is one of the best values in Animal Kingdom.

For dessert, head to Satu’li Canteen in Pandora, World of Avatar and grab the Metkayina Mousse, a layered treat featuring flourless chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, raspberry gelee, mango coulis, and boba pearls for $6.29. It is easily one of the best desserts in the park.
