Hey Dreamers! Finding the best food at EPCOT can feel overwhelming as there are sooooo many choices.

EPCOT offers some of the most memorable meals at Walt Disney World, and we are here to help you decide which restaurants are worth adding to your plans when that 60 day dining reservation window opens. With so many unique dining experiences throughout World Showcase, knowing where to spend your time and money can make a huge difference in your Disney vacation.

Some families are looking for incredible food. Others want a beautiful atmosphere, a fun experience, character dining, or a place where everyone can find something they enjoy. After years of Disney trips, we have learned that the best EPCOT dining experiences are not always about the most expensive meal or the restaurant with the highest ratings.

We believe Disney dining is about the entire experience. The food matters, but so do the memories created around the table, the setting, and the story behind each location. At the same time, we also know that a beautiful restaurant cannot completely make up for a disappointing meal.

That is why this guide to the best food at EPCOT focuses on restaurants worth considering, what makes each one special, who will love them, and who may want to choose something else.

EPCOT Food: Festivals, Quick Service, and Table Service

EPCOT has some of the best food you’ll find at any Disney theme park, with a few of the incredible Disney Resort restaurants giving it some serious competition. But here’s the thing: some of the best food at EPCOT isn’t even served inside a restaurant. During festivals, EPCOT becomes a food lover’s playground. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival all bring specialty food booths, called Global Marketplaces or Outdoor Kitchens, depending on the festival.

And the festival food can be really good. You can find creative dishes, international flavors, and smaller portions that let you try several things without committing to a full meal. The quality can vary from booth to booth and even from one dish to the next, but when EPCOT gets it right, it really gets it right. And compared with a full table service meal, you can try a lot of food without spending nearly as much.

But you aren’t always visiting during a festival. That’s where we get into what everyone jokingly calls “diet EPCOT.” No festival booths. No special festival menus. Just regular EPCOT, where you’re choosing between table service restaurants and the park’s everyday quick service options. And there are some really good ones. We’ll give you three quick service honorable mentions later in this guide, including a few that we think are absolutely worth knowing about.

This guide, though, is all about EPCOT table service restaurants. These are the places where you’re making a reservation, sitting down for a full meal, and deciding whether the food, price, atmosphere, and overall experience are worth giving up a chunk of your park day. And because every family eats differently, we’re not going to tell you that one restaurant is the best. Instead, we’ll tell you who each restaurant is actually best for, who might want to skip it, and where we’d spend our own dining budget.

A quick note, as mentioned this guide focuses on EPCOT table service restaurants but we do make 3 quick-service honorable mentions that need to be brought up so stay tuned.

These are all the full table service restaurants at EPCOT as of August 2026. This list is based on Walt Disney World’s current EPCOT dining listings and is intended as a resource for identifying the park’s full table service restaurants, rather than quick service locations, snack locations, lounges, or special dining events.

Important Notes

GEO-82: Disney currently categorizes GEO-82 as Table Service, but it is specifically a lounge, rather than a full-service restaurant. Because this resource is intended to identify the full table service restaurants at EPCOT, I have left GEO-82 out of the main list. Disney describes it as an adult-exclusive lounge with small bites and beverages.

Space 220 Lounge: Space 220 also has a separate lounge. The Space 220 Restaurant is included in the table above because it is the full restaurant and is categorized by Disney as Table Service. The separate Space 220 Lounge is a lounge with an à la carte small-bites menu, so it is not included as a full table service restaurant.

Coral Reef Restaurant: Coral Reef will temporarily close for maintenance beginning September 8, 2026. Disney has not yet announced a reopening date, other than indicating that it is expected to reopen later in 2026. It remains part of this August 2026 resource because it is currently an operating EPCOT table service restaurant. We have a full review on this restaurant and an update is needed but we were also pleasantly surprised because it has such a bad wrap…. see why.

So, for a resource you can reference going forward, EPCOT currently has 19 full table service restaurants as of August 2026, with GEO-82 and Space 220 Lounge excluded because they are lounges rather than full restaurants.

When to eat at an EPCOT Restaurant

Your dining strategy at EPCOT can look very different depending on when you visit. During non festival times, what everyone jokingly call “diet EPCOT,” this is when restaurant reservations and quick service meals become a bigger part of your day. Without festival booths filling World Showcase, you may want to plan a few more traditional meals to keep everyone happy.

During Epcot festivals, however, your dining strategy can look completely different. This is when EPCOT becomes a giant food adventure (NO JOKE), with booths around the park offering unique dishes, snacks, and flavors from around the world. Suddenly, that big sit down meal you thought you needed may not sound quite as exciting when there are so many things waiting for you around every corner.

Our advice? If there is a restaurant you have always wanted to try, absolutely make that reservation. But during festivals, leave yourself room to explore. Some of the best EPCOT food memories come from sharing small bites, trying something new, and discovering your next favorite snack along the way.

Now we are getting into the EPCOT restaurants that have earned a mention on our list, good and bad. These are the places we think are worth talking about, not because every single one will be perfect for every family, but because each one offers something unique.

Some shine because of the food. Some because of the atmosphere. Some because they create a Disney memory you simply cannot get anywhere else.

Let’s dive into the EPCOT restaurants that are worth considering for your next trip. Okay…. drum roll, please!

Biergarten Restaurant: Best Value Buffet at EPCOT

Located inside the Germany pavilion at EPCOT’s World Showcase, Biergarten Restaurant is one of those dining experiences that proves the best EPCOT restaurants are not always about having the fanciest food. Sometimes the value, atmosphere, and overall experience are what make a meal memorable.

Let’s start with the food. Is it the most incredible meal you will ever have at Walt Disney World? Probably not. But that is not why we keep coming back.

Biergarten offers something that is surprisingly difficult to find at Disney: incredible value.

This buffet is one of the more affordable buffets on Disney property, making it a great option for families who want plenty of choices without paying the price of some of the higher end dining experiences. After walking around World Showcase, especially during a busy day, having a place where everyone can choose what they want is a huge advantage.

The buffet includes options like sausages, roasted chicken, schnitzel, sauerkraut, spätzle, salads, and desserts. There is also a wonderful selection of German beers available, along with knowledgeable servers who help bring the experience together.

But the real star of Biergarten is the atmosphere. The restaurant recreates the feeling of Oktoberfest in Germany, complete with live entertainment and a lively celebration style. Traditionally, German dining culture often includes sharing tables with other families, although the seating experience has changed over the years and many tables are now spaced differently.

This is also one of those restaurants where knowing your family matters. If you love hearty German flavors, mustard, sausages, and a meal with lots of personality, Biergarten can easily become a family favorite.

If you are looking for lighter food, familiar flavors, or your family is not interested in German cuisine, this may not be the right dining choice for you.

For us, Biergarten is a great example of what makes the best food at EPCOT different from dining at other Disney parks. The food is only one part of the experience. The atmosphere, variety, and chance to sit down together after exploring World Showcase are what make this restaurant worth considering. Le Cellier Steakhouse: Best Special Occasion Meal

Located inside the Canada pavilion at EPCOTs World Showcase, Le Cellier Steakhouse. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and beautifully themed, making it a memorable choice when you are looking for something beyond a typical theme park meal.

Now, we need to talk about the price because this is not a casual “let’s just grab dinner” kind of restaurant.

Le Cellier is considered one of EPCOT’s more expensive dining options, and Disney reflects that with its higher price category. If you see the three dollar signs next to lunch and dinner, that is your reminder that this is a meal you will want to plan for.

The cost is also reflected if you are using the Disney Dining Plan. Le Cellier requires two table service credits, which tells you right away that this is considered a premium dining experience. New to the Disney Dining Plan? We’ve got the scoop here.

But for the right family, this restaurant can absolutely be worth it. The food is the highlight here, especially if you are a steak lover. The menu focuses on Canadian inspired cuisine, with hearty options that feel elevated compared to many theme park meals. Combined with the cozy atmosphere, Le Cellier offers a dining experience that feels like a true escape from the park.

This is also one of those restaurants where the setting matters. After spending the day exploring EPCOT, walking through World Showcase, and soaking in all the details of the pavilions, stepping into a restaurant with a completely different atmosphere can be part of the fun.

Rose & Crown Dining Room: Best Waterfront Dining Experience at EPCOT

Located in the United Kingdom pavilion at EPCOT’s World Showcase, Rose & Crown Dining Room is one of those restaurants where the location is just as important as the meal itself.

There is something special about sitting along World Showcase Lagoon, enjoying a meal, and watching the energy of EPCOT move around you. Whether you are visiting during a relaxing park day or ending your evening before a nighttime spectacular, Rose & Crown offers an experience that feels unique.

The menu celebrates classic British comfort food, with favorites like fish and chips, bangers and mash, and cottage pie. If you enjoy traditional British flavors, this restaurant offers a fun opportunity to try something different while still feeling familiar.

One of our favorite things about Rose & Crown is that it feels like more than just a restaurant. It has the charm of a traditional British pub, complete with a fun atmosphere and a great beverage selection, including favorites like Guinness. It is a place where you can slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and take a break from a busy day in the parks.

We also think it is worth noting that Rose & Crown Dining Room is a different experience from the outdoor quick service location nearby. While the quick service location is convenient, the table service restaurant gives you more time to enjoy the atmosphere, the menu, and the overall experience.

And this is exactly why Rose & Crown earns a spot on our best food at EPCOT list. The food is enjoyable, but the setting is what makes this meal memorable.

San Angel Inn Restaurante: Best Atmosphere at EPCOT

Tucked inside the Mexico pavilion, San Angel Inn Restaurante is one of the most unique dining experiences at EPCOT. Even before the food arrives, the atmosphere is what makes this restaurant stand out.

If you have ever eaten at Blue Bayou in Disneyland, you’ll immediately notice the similarities. The dim lighting, boats floating by, and the feeling of dining outdoors at night create one of the most immersive restaurants in Walt Disney World.

The menu leans toward authentic Mexican cuisine, so it is a little different from what you might find at your neighborhood Mexican restaurant. That’s one of the reasons we enjoy it. If you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone, you’ll find some wonderful flavors here.

Traveling with kids? Don’t worry. Disney still offers familiar options like tacos, quesadillas, chicken tenders, and macaroni and cheese on the children’s menu, making it easier for everyone in the family to find something they’ll enjoy.

Another bonus is the price. While San Angel Inn is certainly not inexpensive, it is generally more affordable than Blue Bayou at Disneyland while delivering a similarly immersive atmosphere.

If atmosphere plays a big role in your dining decisions, San Angel Inn deserves a spot near the top of your list. We’d also recommend making an advance dining reservation, as this is one of the more popular restaurants in World Showcase.

Space 220 Restaurant: The Most Immersive Dining Experience at EPCOT

If you’re looking for a restaurant that your family will talk about long after your vacation, Space 220 should absolutely be on your radar.

Located next to Mission: SPACE, this restaurant begins before you ever sit down. You’ll board a space elevator that “launches” you 220 miles above Earth, where you’ll dine while looking out massive windows into space. It is one of the most impressive restaurant themes Disney has ever created.

Now let’s talk honestly about the food.

We have eaten here more than once, and our biggest piece of advice is simple: if your budget allows, book dinner instead of lunch.

Lunch is good, but dinner feels much more complete and worth the higher price. The menu offers more variety, and the overall experience feels like it matches the premium cost a little better. If you’re already investing in one of EPCOT’s most expensive reservations, we’d recommend making it count.

Space 220 also gets mixed reviews online. Some people absolutely love it, while others leave wondering what all the hype was about.

We land somewhere in the middle. The atmosphere completely delivers. Disney did an incredible job creating a restaurant that truly feels unlike anything else at Walt Disney World. Whether the food lives up to your expectations will depend on what you’re looking for, but we think the experience alone is worth considering if you’ve never been.

Just know this is one of the tougher reservations to book, especially for dinner. If Space 220 is high on your priority list, be ready to reserve it as soon as your dining window opens.

Teppan Edo: Best Interactive Family Dining Experience at EPCOT

Located inside the Japan pavilion, Teppan Edo is one of those restaurants that turns dinner into part of the entertainment.

If you’ve never experienced hibachi-style dining, this is a fun place to start. Your chef prepares your meal right at the table while putting on a show that keeps both kids and adults engaged. It is interactive, energetic, and a nice change of pace after spending hours walking around EPCOT.

One of the reasons we keep recommending Teppan Edo is because it feels different from a typical theme park meal.

Let’s be honest. By the middle of a Disney vacation, many families have had their fill of burgers, pizza, and chicken strips. Teppan Edo is a chance to slow down, enjoy a freshly prepared meal, and try something that feels a little more elevated without being overly fancy.

The menu features steak, chicken, shrimp, and other hibachi favorites, so there is enough variety for most families to find something they’ll enjoy. It is also a great option if your group has different tastes, since everyone can order exactly what sounds good.

This is another restaurant where the experience is a big part of the meal. The chefs interact with your table throughout dinner, making it just as entertaining for younger kids as it is for adults.

Reservations are recommended, especially during busy travel seasons. While Teppan Edo may not always be the first restaurant people think of when searching for the best food at EPCOT, we think it deserves a spot on the list because it offers something completely different from the average theme park dining experience.

Garden Grill Restaurant: Best Character Dining at EPCOT

Located inside The Land pavilion, Garden Grill Restaurant offers one of the most unique dining experiences at EPCOT. The restaurant slowly rotates above Living with the Land, giving you changing views throughout your meal while Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto stop by your table.

Let’s start with the biggest thing to know: you’re paying for the character experience.

Garden Grill is one of EPCOTs more expensive restaurants, but a big part of that price comes from the character dining rather than the food itself. If meeting Disney characters is high on your family’s priority list, you’ll probably leave happy. If you’re booking strictly because you’re looking for the best meal at Epcot, there are stronger food options elsewhere on this list.

That doesn’t mean the food isn’t enjoyable.

The menu features family style comfort food served right to your table, so you can relax without making multiple trips to a buffet. It’s an easy meal for families, especially with younger children who may not have the patience for a longer, more formal dining experience.

One of our favorite parts has nothing to do with the menu. We love slowly rotating above Living with the Land and looking down on one of our favorite attractions. It is peaceful, unique, and unlike any other restaurant at Walt Disney World.

If character dining is on your Disney bucket list, Garden Grill is an easy recommendation. If food is your top priority, we’d spend our dining budget elsewhere.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria: Best Restaurant for Pizza Lovers

If your family loves pizza, Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria deserves a look.

Located in the Italy pavilion, this popular table service restaurant serves wood fired pizzas alongside Southern Italian favorites like lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and pasta dishes. It is one of the better choices at EPCOTwhen everyone in your group wants something familiar without settling for standard theme park pizza.

One of the coolest details is how seriously Via Napoli takes its pizza. The restaurant imports Caputo flour from Southern Italy, makes its sauce fresh, and cooks pizzas in wood burning ovens named after three famous Italian volcanoes: Mount Etna, Mount Vesuvius, and Stromboli.

Now for the honest part.

Via Napoli gets mixed reviews.

Some families absolutely love it and make it a tradition every trip. Others leave feeling the food didn’t quite justify the price. That’s why we don’t consider it a must do restaurant for everyone.

But if your family loves pizza, enjoys Italian food, and wants a relaxing sit down meal in World Showcase, Via Napoli is definitely worth considering.

Reservations are recommended, especially during busier times of the year.

Three Quick Service Stops We Never Skip

This guide focuses on table service restaurants, but we’d be doing you a disservice if we didn’t mention three quick service locations we return to again and again.

Katsura Grill

Need a quiet break from the crowds?

Head to Katsura Grill in the Japan pavilion. Even if you don’t eat here, the seating area is one of the most peaceful places in all of EPCOT. Grab lunch, take a breath, and enjoy one of the prettiest views in World Showcase.

La Cantina de San Angel

When we’re craving something quick in Mexico, this is usually our stop.

The chicken tacos are a favorite, and the waterfront seating nearby makes it a great place to relax. Just know that seating isn’t right next to the ordering area, so you may need to walk a short distance before finding a table.

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

If you’re trying to stretch your dining budget, don’t overlook this France pavilion favorite.

Fresh sandwiches, soups, pastries, baguettes, gourmet coffee, desserts, wine, and champagne make this one of our favorite quick service stops at EPCOT

Honestly, if we’re not sitting down for a restaurant meal, there’s a good chance you’ll find us here.

It offers incredible quality without the price tag of many table service restaurants, making it one of the best food values in the park.

One More Restaurant Worth Looking At

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

We couldn’t wrap up this guide without mentioning Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

Would we put it on our personal list of the best food at EPCOT? Probably not, and that’s simply because the restaurant isn’t really about the food.

Akershus is best known for its Disney Princess Character Dining experience, making it one of the most popular reservations for families with younger children. If meeting several princesses during one meal is high on your Disney wish list, this restaurant can be well worth considering.

The menu is where opinions start to vary.

The food includes Scandinavian inspired dishes, which can be a little outside the comfort zone for some families. While Disney does offer familiar options for kids, many adults find the menu more adventurous than they expected.

Our advice? Book Akershus for the princesses, not because you’re chasing the best meal at EPCOT

If your family is planning a princess filled vacation, breakfast may be one of the best ways to experience Akershus while still enjoying the character interactions that make this restaurant so popular.

As we have mentioned, EPCOT is home to some of the best food at Walt Disney World. In fact, the only dining we might put ahead of it is some of the incredible restaurants you’ll find at the Disney Resort hotels. Those are tough to beat. But when it comes to dining inside the parks, EPCOT is in a league of its own.

If you’re visiting during one of EPCOT’s festivals, remember that your dining plans may look completely different. You may find yourself snacking your way around World Showcase instead of sitting down for a full meal. But if you’re visiting outside of festival season, or there’s a restaurant you’ve always wanted to try, this is your chance to slow down and enjoy one of Epcot’s best dining experiences.

Before you book, take a few minutes to look over the menu and current pricing. Disney restaurants, menus, and prices are always subject to change, and every family has different tastes and priorities.

As soon as your 60 day dining reservation window opens, grab the reservation you’re interested in. You can always modify or cancel it later if your plans change. Some restaurants are easier to book than others, but it’s much better to have the reservation and adjust it than to miss out completely.
