Ok Dreamers, let’s get to it! We checked in, soaked it all in, and we’re here to spill the (French-pressed) coffee on what makes this Disney Vacation Club resort such a gem.

A Little Walt-Inspired Magic

From the moment you roll up the palm tree-lined boulevard, Disney’s Riviera Resort feels like stepping into an artful blend of old-world charm and Disney enchantment.

In our review of Disney’s Riviera Resort, we were immediately struck by the elegant archways, soft stucco walls, and Mediterranean hues create a resort that’s both modern and timeless. Inside, you’ll find nods to the golden age of travel, with art inspired by beloved Disney characters reimagined through a European lens.

It’s luxurious without feeling stuffy, and every corner seems made for a photo op, especially for those chasing Disney Riviera Resort photos like we do.

When Walt Disney first fell in love with Europe, he brought home more than inspiration, he brought back imagination. And that spark is exactly what makes this resort shine. We absolutely LOVE these photos in the hallways!

Poolside Perfection (and Gelato Dreams)

Pool time, anyone? If you’re craving a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful escape, the Riviera Pool is your place to unwind. It shimmers under the Florida sun, framed by elegant stone façades and breezy umbrellas that make you feel like you’ve been whisked away to southern France. Little ones will fall in love with S’il Vous Play, a Fantasia-inspired splash zone where fountains dance and Disney magic comes to life.

Oh, and don’t skip the gelato stand by the pool. The gelato is handmade, light, and absolutely chef’s kiss refreshing. Lemon tops our list!

A Sky-High Perk You Can’t Miss

Huge resort perk alert! The Disney Skyliner, is right outside your door, meaning you can float over to EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios in just minutes. No long bus rides, no crowds, just breathtaking aerial views. Oh yes, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs are still just a Disney bus ride away.

Note: Between January 24–30, 2027, the Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment, but complimentary bus service will be available.

Dining with a View: Topolino’s Terrace

If you’re looking for a meal with a view that truly wows, Topolino’s Terrace, flavors of the Riviera is the place. The dinner menu blends French and Italian flavors into something truly special, think fine dining meets Disney charm.

The restaurant’s Character Breakfast is a hit and the perfect start to your park day, while dinner ranges from $35 to $59.99 per adult. Yes, it’s a splurge, but watching the sunset from the terrace while savoring that handmade pasta? Absolutely worth it. And not to mention, this beauty, complete with a Riviera logo stamp!

A Hidden Gem: Le Petit Café

Between the art, the ambiance, and the aroma of freshly brewed espresso, Le Petit Café might just be the Riviera’s most underrated delight. We couldn’t get enough of their handcrafted drinks, the chai tea latte was a standout and the rotating lineup of pastries makes every visit a special treat.

Usually open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (always check before you go), it’s the perfect spot to sip, people-watch, and pretend you’re in Paris without the jet lag. Even if you’re not staying here, popping into Le Petit Café alone is reason enough to visit the resort.

Honorable mention… the artwork!

The artwork had us at hello! And if you’ve seen Cars 2, you might just recognize a little inspiration. Those Riviera vibes are giving major Porto Corsa energy! But the real showstoppers? The Tangled and Peter Pan mosaics near the Skyliner station. These breathtaking pieces shimmer with thousands of hand-cut tiles, each capturing scenes that feel straight out of a fairytale. One moment, you’re gazing up at floating lanterns glowing over Rapunzel’s kingdom, and the next, you’re flying past the stars of Never Land with Peter, Wendy, and Tink.

It’s Disney artistry at its best. beautiful, detailed, and impossible not to stop and stare.

So, Dreamers…

Between Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Beach Club, which would you choose? Are you all about the Riviera’s refined European charm, or are you team Beach Club with its legendary pool?
