Meet Your Disney Travel Planner & Disney Destinations EXPERT

Meet Your Disney Travel Planner & Disney Destinations EXPERT

Hey Dreamers! If you are here, chances are Disney means something special to you. Or you could be new to it all too! I know planning a Disney vacation can feel exciting and overwhelming at the same time. Looking for a Disney travel planner who combines firsthand Disney experience with honest, personalized advice? You are in the right place. I spent more than 10 years working with Disney as a Cast Member, including Disney Destinations and Disney Operations, and now I use that experience to help families create Disney vacations that feel personal, thoughtful, and designed around what matters most to them.

That is why I created One Man’s Dreamers and why I chose to work with my favorite travel planning team, Magic Mornings Vacations. With so many companies to choose from, I personally vetted this partnership because I wanted to make sure I was providing the best possible resource, not only for myself, but for you and your family. My goal is to combine trusted planning support with the knowledge, experience, and honest advice I have gained through decades of Disney experiences.

There are many travel planning services available, but I wanted to partner with a team that provides more than just booking support for Disney Travel Planners and of course, you. Magic Mornings Vacations provides the training, resources, and support needed to help create a truly personalized Disney vacation experience.

Disney Has Been Part of My Story For Decades

Disney has been part of my life for decades, but my connection to Disney goes far beyond visiting the parks, and being a Disney Travel Planner (or as I love to call it, Disney Destinations Expert).

One Man’s Dreamers began as a way to share the stories, history, details, and experiences that make Disney destinations so special. What started as a passion project has grown into a trusted resource for Disney fans and families who want to learn more, plan better, and experience Disney in a deeper way.

Today, One Man’s Dreamers reaches more than 1000 readers each month through our blog and has built a community of more than 10,000 Disney fans across our social channels.

Through detailed guides, honest reviews, Disney history, and firsthand experiences, we have become a resource for families looking for trusted information on everything from Disney Resorts and dining to unique experiences like Disney’s Beach Club Resort, the Nantucket Suite, and so much more.

I have experienced Disney from almost every angle possible. I have been a Cast Member, a ticket specialist, a vacation planner, a Disney Destinations professional, an operations leader, a Disney Vacation Club owner, a storyteller, a Disney historian, and a lifelong fan who continues to visit, research, and discover something new every time.

Now, I get to take everything I have learned and use it to help families create Disney vacations that feel personal, thoughtful, and completely their own.

My Disney Journey Started Helping Families Plan Their Vacations

My Disney journey began more than 20 years ago at the Disney Store as a Disney Ticket Specialist, where I spent more than two years helping families purchase Disney tickets and begin planning their vacations.

This was my first opportunity to help families make some of their biggest Disney decisions. I learned how important it was to listen, understand what someone wanted from their vacation, and help guide them toward the experience that made the most sense.

Even before I became a Cast Member inside the parks, I was learning Disney vacation planning, ticket products, and what families needed to feel confident before arriving.

Becoming A Disney Cast Member At Magic Kingdom

My journey continued when I joined the Disney College Program at Magic Kingdom.

I worked at Space Mountain, where I learned attractions operations from the inside out. I saw firsthand what goes into creating a great attraction experience, from the smallest details to the teamwork happening behind the scenes.

During my time as a Cast Member, I also worked quick service food and beverage in Frontierland, supported parade operations, and worked special events throughout Magic Kingdom.

I learned that Disney is not just about attractions. It is about timing, storytelling, operations, teamwork, and thousands of details coming together to create a memorable day.

I also had the opportunity to work with Magic Kingdom dessert parties. While these experiences can be wonderful for the right family, I believe in sharing honest opinions before making a sale. Some families may love the convenience and experience, while others may find their money creates more value somewhere else during their vacation.

Disney University Training And Learning The Disney Difference

Throughout my Disney career, I received extensive Disney leadership and service training through Disney University.

I learned Disney products, service, sales, vacation planning, and the philosophy behind creating meaningful experiences for families.

Disney University helped me understand something I still carry with me today. The best Disney vacation is not about doing everything. It is about understanding what matters most to each family and creating an experience that fits them.

From Disney College Recruiting To Disney Destinations Marketing

After my time working in the parks, I moved into Disney College Recruiting for over 5 years.

I helped students understand the opportunities available at Disney and decide whether becoming a Cast Member was the right journey for them.

This role gave me another perspective into Disney because I was helping people understand the company, the culture, and the opportunities behind the scenes.

Learning Disney Vacations From The Destination Side

Later, I joined Disney Destinations Marketing, where I expanded my knowledge of Disney vacations, tickets, resorts, and vacation products.

Tickets, vacation packages, resorts, and Disney products were a major part of my expertise. I learned how Disney vacations are created, how families make decisions, and how each choice can impact the overall experience.

This experience gave me a deeper understanding of Disney beyond what most visitors ever see.

Disney Resort Knowledge Built From Ownership And Experience

My family’s connection to Disney goes beyond vacations. We have been Disney Vacation Club members for more than 30 years.

Through Disney Vacation Club ownership, my family has built a large portfolio of Disney Resort experiences and has firsthand knowledge of what it is like to own, stay at, compare, and choose different Disney Vacation Club properties.

Our Disney Vacation Club ownership has included resorts such as:

  • Disney’s Old Key West Resort
  • Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa
  • Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
  • Disney’s Riviera Resort

This experience allows me to understand Disney Resorts beyond a quick visit. I know what makes different resorts unique, how locations impact your vacation, and why certain resorts work better for different families.

On top of this, I have stayed at every Disney Resort in Disney World and Disneyland! Including Disney’s Aulani, Vero Beach, and Hilton Head Resort.

Understanding Value, Moderate, Deluxe, And Deluxe Villa Resorts

Choosing the right Disney Resort can completely change your vacation.

I can help families understand the difference between Value, Moderate, Deluxe, and Deluxe Villa Resorts and why each category offers something different.

My personal favorites include Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. Yes, I am a Disney Deluxe Resort girl, but for good reason! Instead of throwing money at special events, or even getting into the expensive hype of the Magic Kingdom Dessert parties, I believe staying at a moderate or deluxe resort will completely transform your entire Disney vacation experience.

But this is where honest planning matters. My favorite resort may not be your favorite resort. The goal is never to convince you to choose what I personally love. The goal is to help you discover what works best for your family.

Good Neighbor Hotels Are A Strength I Bring To Planning

One of my unique strengths is my knowledge of Good Neighbor Hotels.

Through my Disney Destinations experience, I visited and evaluated all of the hotels beyond Disney property. I participated in hotel inspections, experienced the properties firsthand, and learned what makes each option different.

Good Neighbor Hotels can be an excellent choice for many families. They can provide great locations, valuable amenities, and options that fit different budgets.

I can help you understand the differences between staying on Disney property and choosing a Good Neighbor Hotel so you can make the decision that feels right for your vacation.

Disney Operations Experience Behind The Scenes

After my Disney Destinations experience, I became a Disney Operations Manager at Disney Springs, which was then known as Downtown Disney.

I worked with a team responsible for areas including guest experience, custodial operations, parking, and events.

At the time, parking included lots A through Q before the parking garages existed. I also supported events like Disney Magic Music Days, helping with crowd management and overseeing operations.

One of the highlights of this role was working alongside and supporting more than 150 Cast Members.

This experience gave me a deeper understanding of Disney operations, guest flow, and what happens behind the scenes to create a seamless experience.

A Disney Historian Who Loves The Stories Behind The Parks

Disney is about storytelling.

It is about the vision behind the lands, the history behind the attractions, and the details that make each destination special.

Through One Man’s Dreamers, I share Disney history, attraction stories, hidden details, and the evolution of the parks with a growing community of Disney fans.

I love researching Walt Disney’s vision, learning why things were created, and helping people see Disney through a different perspective.

Honest Disney Advice Without The Sales Pitch

One of the biggest differences in my approach is that I believe families deserve honesty.

I love Disney. It has shaped my career, my passions, and my life. But I also know that every experience is not the perfect fit for every family.

Sometimes a Deluxe Resort is worth the investment because the location, transportation, and convenience make your vacation easier.

Sometimes a Value Resort is exactly the right choice because it allows your family to spend more on experiences that matter most to you.

Sometimes a special event, dining experience, or upgrade sounds exciting but may not provide the value you are expecting.

My goal is not to sell you the biggest vacation package. My goal is to help you create the vacation that fits your family.

Disney Knowledge Beyond The Basics

A Disney Travel Planner should know it all… quite literally!

I have extensive knowledge of:

I love helping families understand where their money creates the most value and where they may want to think twice.

Continuing To Experience Disney So I Can Help You Better

Staying current matters. Disney is always changing. And your Disney Travel Planner should absolutely keap up!

New restaurants open. Resorts update. Attractions evolve. Events change. Menus are refreshed. New experiences arrive.

I continue visiting Disney destinations, staying at resorts, trying restaurants, attending events, and following Disney updates because firsthand experience matters.

Upcoming visits for me include an August 2026 Disneyland media event with an incredible group from Magic Mornings Vacations. During this experience, we will be exploring the Halloween season, trying the seasonal treats in a room for travel planners, meeting Disney Halloween characters in costume, and experiencing Haunted Mansion Holiday with Disney leaders guiding us along the way. I am excited to experience Disneyland during this special time of year alongside other Disney professionals and continue bringing those firsthand details back to you.

I also continue returning to Walt Disney World to experience the latest updates, including an upcoming October 2026 visit focused on Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. While this event is a fan favorite, I believe in providing honest reviews and helping families understand whether an experience is truly worth the investment for their vacation. Beyond the event itself, I will continue exploring dining updates, attractions, resorts, seasonal offerings, and everything new across Walt Disney World so I can provide current, firsthand information to help you plan with confidence.

I have many more planned to Disneyland and Disney World in 2027. Beyond the parks, I am also continuing to expand my Disney Cruise Line knowledge with future plans to experience more sailings, including sailing on an Alaskan cruise and a European cruise aboard Disney Cruise Line. The Disney Magic ship holds a special place as my favorite Disney ship, and I cannot wait to continue exploring what makes each sailing unique so I can help you decide which Disney vacation experience is the right fit for your family.

Not to mention, a 2028 trip returning to Disney’s Aulani in O’ahu, Hawaii!

Disney Experience That Goes Beyond The Parks

Simply put, I have a passion for travel, storytelling and helping others. My Disney background launched a career that expanded into marketing, hospitality, national parks, and many other industries.

I have also contributed Disney content through writing opportunities with Disney focused publications, including Disney Food Blog and All Ears.

Everything I have learned throughout my career comes back to one thing: helping people create experiences they will remember.

This is all why I have chosen to become a Disney historian, and most of all, a Disney Travel Planner.

Helping You Create Your Disney Vacation

Disney has shaped my career, my passions, and my story.

Now I get to take everything I have learned through Disney University training, Cast Member experience, Disney Destinations, operations, sales, resort knowledge, Disney Vacation Club ownership, and decades of personal Disney experiences and share it with you.

Whether you are planning your first Disney vacation, returning after years away, choosing a resort, building your park days, navigating dining, or simply wanting honest advice from someone who understands Disney deeply, I am here to help.

It’s all about you. Your vacation is about your family. Your memories. Your moments. My goal is to help you make the most of them.

How a Disney Travel Planner Gets Paid

One of the most common questions people have is how Disney travel planners are paid.

When you work with a Disney travel planner, there is no planning fee for your vacation. Our services are complimentary because our compensation comes from Disney and other travel suppliers, not from you.

For example, when we help you book a Disney Resort stay, Disney Cruise Line vacation, or other eligible travel experience, the supplier pays the commission for the booking. You receive the same Disney pricing and eligible discounts while also having someone on your side who understands the details, options, and decisions that go into planning a Disney vacation.

Having an experienced Disney travel planner at no additional cost is an incredible resource. In fact, if I were not a Disney expert myself, I would absolutely want someone knowledgeable helping me navigate the process.

Beyond complimentary vacation planning, I also offer additional services for families who want even more support during their trip. These options include in depth Lightning Lane assistance, where I help manage your strategy and adjustments, as well as Disney concierge services, where I provide a higher level of personalized support during your vacation.

With these enhanced services, I can help monitor updates, make adjustments, assist with Disney phone calls, help navigate last minute changes, share important park information, and help you make decisions while you are enjoying your vacation.

My goal is simple: give you the level of support that makes your Disney experience easier, less stressful, and more enjoyable.

Continuing To Share Disney Beyond The Blog

We are also continuing to grow our YouTube channel and create more in depth video content to help you experience Disney in a whole new way. We are currently working on expanding our videos, including an upcoming video that is more than 20 minutes dedicated to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, exploring the resort, its amenities, the overall experience, and why a Disney Deluxe Resort may be worth the investment for your family.

Sometimes the value of a Disney vacation is not just about the number of nights you stay or the experiences you add. It is about the convenience, time saved, memories created, and the moments you get back with the people you love.

Not to mention, a One Man’s Dreamers podcast is in the works! Stay tuned for a brother-sister Disney duo and the excitement we have coming! We’re redesigning our office space and investing into everything to make our podcast not only truthful but funny and unique.
